 The Maintenance Facilities Technician 1 will be 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F

They will perform all related maintenance duties to plant equipment and machines with little to no supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•    Troubleshoot CNC machine problems for various reasons.
•    Diagnose basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or water system issues throughout the facility.
•    Assist and perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on machines on the annual scheduled (PM) date.
•    Act as Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) focal by collecting, reviewing, and reporting TPM completion sheets throughout the facility.
•    Miscellaneous minor fabrication work as necessary to support production needs.
•    Meeting production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures
•    Working with support resources and cell leaders to resolve production problems when they arise.
•    Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies, contributing to risk mitigation management teams, and keeping all work areas clean.
•    Contributing to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude.
•    Continuously striving to find ways to make manufacturing process more efficient and effective
•    Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the assembly department through participation in FOD, 5S, TPM, PM, and Process Improvement programs.
•    May train others on job tasks they are proficient in.

Education and/or Experience                               
•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent. 
•    General mechanical knowledge/background.
•    CNC Maintenance and Hydraulic experience inclusive of two years actual hands-on Maintenance or two years proven proficiency in similar industrial environment.

Basic understanding of the following preferred:
•    Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
•    Precision measuring devices
•    Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, wire schematics, and machine literature. 
•    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
•    Intermediate computer skills
•    Read and interpret hydraulic schematics

•    Physical hazards from moving mechanical parts, static and dynamic hydraulic pressure exceeding 5000 PSI
•    Hazards due to airborne particles 
•    Breathing fumes, dust, and mist
•    Skin exposure to hazardous chemicals such as: Acetone, Alcohol, HFE-72DE, sealants, bonding solvents, paint stripper, paints, and solvents. May involve prolonged exposure to caustic oils such as Hyjet IV (Skydrol).
