Based in Yakima, WA, Triumph Actuation and Landing Gear Systems designs, manufactures, assembles, tests, and provides MRO services for aerospace products and systems that include hydraulic actuators, hydraulic valves and manifolds, hydraulic fuses, and repeatable release holdback bars and employs more than 240 employees. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is an industry leader in landing gear actuation, providing actuation components to every major aircraft manufacturer. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is also the sole supplier of the critical repeatable release holdback bars used for launching US Navy fighter jets from aircraft carriers. Responsibilities
Summary
Responsible for receiving raw materials and purchased or outside‑processed products, as well as packaging and shipping commercial and military items. This role supports production flow, ensures compliance with customer requirements, and maintains a safe, efficient work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Package commercial and military products per customer requirements.
- Prepare packing lists, waybills, and shipping documentation.
- Perform basic inspections and certification checks.
- Maintain packaging materials and use shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, customer portals).
- Follow commercial and military receiving procedures..
- Operate an industrial band saw, overhead hoists, and tracking systems.
- Perform basic visual inspections for damage.
- Obtain forklift certification within 30 days; operate company vehicle as needed.
- Collaborate with support teams to resolve production issues.
- Participate in FOD, 5S, TPM, PM, and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools (power drill, circular cutoff saw, staplers) required.
- Ability to use computer systems to receive, verify, and track parts required.
Shipping/Receiving Clerk 1
- 0–1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience.
Shipping/Receiving Clerk 2
- 2-3 years of previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations role required.
Shipping/Receiving Clerk 3
- 4–5+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience, including advanced documentation and process ownership required.
Position Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 Per Hour.
Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education level, qualifications, and experience.
