Summer Intern - Finance & Business Support

 

Overview
Triumph is actively seeking a motivated and results‑driven student for our Summer 2026 Finance Internship, offering meaningful exposure to Finance, IT, and HR within a fast‑paced manu

facturing production environment. This internship is designed to give college‑level students practical, hands‑on experience that enhances and complements classroom learning while contributing to real business outcomes.

 

As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with leaders across multiple business support functions to understand how financial processes, enterprise systems, and workforce planning intersect to support a global manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical work, cross‑functional collaboration, and learning how financial decisions shape operational performance.

 

Responsibilities 
Finance
•    Various daily duties with data entry, invoice tracking, and expense reconciliation
•    Helps prepare reports, spreadsheets, and budget summaries
•    Supports month end tasks or audit preparation
•    Projects on costing/manufacturing analysis – cost & hours linked to Productivity projects or CER’s
•    Data archiving & other administrative tasks
•    Gain overall appreciation for Finance function & Role within the business

 

Human Resources
•    Helps with onboarding paperwork and orientation logistics
•    Assists with recruiting tasks such as scheduling interviews or screening resumes
•    Updates employee files, training records, or HR databases
•    Supports employee engagement or summer events

 

Information Technology
•    Provides basic help desk support 
•    Assists with inventory of hardware/software
•    Supports small projects like system clean ups or device imaging
•    Get understanding of ERP/Business Systems

Qualifications

Education & Experience

•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
•    Pursuing BA degree in a field related to Accounting, Business Management or related fields. 
•    Communication: Strong professional writing and verbal skills for interfacing with cross-functional department heads and external vendors.
•    Analytical Mindset: Ability to take complex, disparate data sets and turn them into actionable executive summaries.
•    Computer skills required: intermediate-advanced Excel, Outlook, Word, (Visio-preferred but not required)


Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00/Hour
Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience.
