Primary role will be paint, finish, and will include basic assembly work.

Will learn mechanical assembly and finish operations on product line per blueprints and planning with little to no supervision.

Follow assembly operations work instructions in conjunction with manufacturing engineering and quality control to optimize the process and achieve maximum productivity and quality.

Maintain orderly and retrievable records of work performed and complete records of work order operations, shop books, photos and procedures.

Perform requirements involving straightening of T.I.R. milling, swaging, staking, drilling, install bushing and side load test per process specifications of sub-assemblies.

Work with hazardous chemicals such as; Acetone, Alcohol, HFE-72DE, paints, sealants, bonding solvents, paint stripper, solvents and paint thinner.  May involve prolonged exposure to caustic oils such as Hyjet IV. 

Some heavy lifting/moving is required; 25-75 pounds.

  • High Scholl Diploma, (GED) or equivalent.
  • Strong general mechanical knowledge/background
  • Math skills preferred algebra, geometry, trigonometry
  • Desire to work in a team environment; work positively with others, contribute to the work cell, be open and receptive to ideas and feedback, and treat others with respect.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Safe use of hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions, oral and written
