Operations Superviosr Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring and managing production associates within an Aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Collaboratively seeks and carries out strategic initiatives that are in alignment with the overall organizational goals
  • Developing and implementing effecitive means of communicating safety, quality, delivery and cost related to metrics to employees
  • Demostrates an ability to analyze data.  Utlizes this ability to convey usebful information that drives effective actions
  • Demonstrated abiltiy to effectively interact with all departments and levels of internal and external customers.   Interface effectively with other supervisors and managers to acheive overall goals and deliver consistent communication to employees.
  • Must be decisive with strong analytical and technical skills and able to constructively solve problems
  • Successful candidate will rely on extensive experience with manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures to plan and acheive departmental and company goals
  • Requires sold understanding and experience with concepts assocated with Kaizen and lean principles.


Experience Required:

  • 4 years manufacturing or enigneering degree or equivalent experience
  • Proactive and postive attitude that represents the company effectively in all situations
  • Work effectively at all levels of the organization to resolve conflicting priories and abtain cooperation to expediently achieve goals
  • Goal oriented
  • Embrace Continuous improvement environment and changes that result from improvement efforts
  • Strategic planning and forward thinking are key to success
  • Effective communication and team building skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self motivation
