Responsibilities and scope of work
•    Oversee all Quality Control activities on the production floor
•    Create and maintain TIPQA Quality plans
•    Coordinate directly with the FAI focal to ensure effectiveness of the FAI process
•    Coordinate directly with the Quality Engineering department as needed 
•    Maintain daily Inspection logs and tie in with applicable personnel on connecting shifts
•    Work as a PMRB team member to action NCRs and ensure that corrective actions are effective
•    Perform random and scheduled audits of the Certified Operator program
•    Ensure shop floor personnel understanding and compliance to Manufacturing planning, Engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications  
•    Follow EHS guidelines
•    Work independently with limited supervision and maintain efficient and effective work habits 
•    Learn and maintain proficiency in all inspection techniques, tools, and equipment
•    Ensure inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order and in calibration  
•    Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and that all records are properly executed before final approval 
•    Utilize Quality programs, software, and required computer applications
•    Work effectively in a cross functional team environment 
•    Create and maintain orderly and legible records
•    Maintain consistent customer service and quality of work standards
•    Work overtime and overlap into 2nd and 3rd shift as requested / needed
•    Run CMM and verify results via other inspection equipment / methods 
•    Apply GD&T in accordance with ANSI Y14.5 
•    Perform product inspections at an expert level 
Qualifications 
•    Minimum education - High School Diploma or equivalent
•    Relevant experience in Quality Assurance (3-5 years preferred)
•    Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of business 
•    High level understanding of GD&T 
•    Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications  
•    Ability to learn and retain necessary skills; Once fully trained will be expected to train and mentor shop floor personnel and lower-level Inspectors
•    Working knowledge of product lines from raw material to the end item (preferred)
•    High level understanding of Quality, Production, and Assembly processes (preferred)
•    Mechanical aptitude 
•    Keen problem-solving skills
•    Physical - Capable of lifting 40lbs and standing / walking for long periods
