Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is an industry leader in landing gear actuation, providing actuation components to every major aircraft manufacturer. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is also the sole supplier of the critical repeatable release holdback bars used for launching US Navy fighter jets from aircraft carriers. TRIUMPH has provided every holdback bar since the F-14.

Responsibilities
Summary
Perform first part, in‑process, first article, and final inspections using CMMs, surface plates, calipers, bore gages, micrometers, height gages, and other precision measuring tools
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct receipt inspections of raw materials, purchased components, standards, and hardware using hardness testers and other precision instruments.
Process NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports) and DMRs (Defective Material Reports), including system entries, documentation, and part flow.
Review completed work orders and product documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and legibility.
Verify material traceability and ensure processing certifications, assemblies, and testing meet internal and customer requirements.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, blueprints, and test procedures to confirm compliance.
Use online data systems and electronic media to verify customer data, specifications, work status, and required entries.
Recommend improvements to existing quality or production methods to optimize equipment capability and product quality.
Maintain quality records and files.
Work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and productivity standards.
Collaborate with supervisor when issues arise affecting performance expectations.
Support and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support customer requirements and company goals.
Follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions effectively
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent.
Associate degree in mechanical or manufacturing technology preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years in quality inspection/machining (final, source and in-process inspection) working in a manufacturing environment.
Must have a working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools.
Problem identification and resolution skills
Experience with quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and knowledgeable of AS9102 First Article Inspection Report requirements preferred.
Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus
Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Position Pay Range: $25.76 - $36.36 Per Hour. Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education level, qualifications, and experience.
