Based in Yakima, WA, Triumph Actuation Products and Services designs, manufactures, assembles, tests, and provides MRO services for aerospace products and systems that include hydraulic actuators, hydraulic valves and manifolds, hydraulic fuses, and repeatable release holdback bars and employs more than 240 employees. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is an industry leader in landing gear actuation, providing actuation components to every major aircraft manufacturer. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is also the sole supplier of the critical repeatable release holdback bars used for launching US Navy fighter jets from aircraft carriers. TRIUMPH has provided every holdback bar since the F-14.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Manage 145 FAA, EASA, CAAC and UK CAA Quality Management systems (QMS).
• Manage AS9110 MRO QMS.
• Act as the key Quality interface between Triumph Yakima and assigned customer by assuring that customer needs are clearly communicated, understood, and adhered to.
• Review End Item Data Packages (EIDP).
• Manufacturing Planning Review.
• Facilitate the development, institution, verification, and communication of zero defect plans internally and to customers.
• Act as key Quality voice for interactions with Customer / Supplier / Quality representatives.
• Daily collaboration with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, manufacturing, and inspection to ensure high quality product is delivered to our customers.
• Understand and analyze complex problems and act as the facilitator for leading cross functional teams for customer required RCCAs and MRB submissions.
• Effectively communicate technical issues, solutions, ideas and concepts to a diverse audience including Program Managers, Customers, and Senior Leadership.
• Ensure proper escalation of customer issues as required.
• Support daily material review board dispositions in support of customer concession submissions.
• Use data analytics for products/processes to investigate/ generate nonconformance history, trends, and establish PDCAs to reduce defects.
• Conduct product/process audits and directly support the development of the Quality Management System.
• Facilitate any on-site customer visits and/or audits.
• Plan, coordinate & administer the Audit & Training programs.
• Oversee the Quality Control Department.
• Interact directly with the final inspection department and conduct inspections as required with inspection equipment.
• Customer requested investigations & failure analysis reporting.
• Maintain & report all Quality metrics.
• Participate in program and quality assurance reviews.
• Develop APQP (FAIR/PPAP/FMEA/Control Plan) in support of new program launches and develop inspection plans to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering / Aviation related from an accredited university or college preferred but not required.
• Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or a Quality Auditor (CQA) desired.
• 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated individual who can work with minimal direction.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to successfully collaborate across organizations and functions.
Position Salary Range: $89,800 - $134,800/Annual. Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience.
