Based in Yakima, WA, Triumph Actuation and Landing Gear Systems designs, manufactures, assembles, tests, and provides MRO services for aerospace products and systems that include hydraulic actuators, hydraulic valves and manifolds, hydraulic fuses, and repeatable release holdback bars and employs more than 240 employees. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is an industry leader in landing gear actuation, providing actuation components to every major aircraft manufacturer. Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is also the sole supplier of the critical repeatable release holdback bars used for launching US Navy fighter jets from aircraft carriers. Responsibilities
Overview
Triumph Group is hiring a Senior Analyst, International Trade Compliance to support import/export compliance across our ALGS sites in Yakima, WA, Redmond, WA, and Valencia, CA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with cross functional teams, navigating U.S. trade regulations, and driving strong compliance practices across a dynamic aerospace environment. The position is a full time onsite position that can be based out of either Triumph’s Yakima or Redmond location.
Travel:
• Yakima based: 1 week per quarter
• Redmond based: 1 week per month in Yakima (2 weeks/month during first 2 months)
Essential Functions
• Implement ITC processes, procedures, and best practices across ALGS.Support import/export requirements and gather data for export licenses.
• Prepare and submit export license applications (DECCS, SNAP R, Descartes OCR) upon E.O. approval.
• Review and approve export shipments.
• Maintain import/export records in Triumph approved systems.
• Partner with Supply Chain, MRO Contracts, Contracts Administration, and Logistics to gather required import documentation and support duty mitigation.
• Collaborate with Triumph approved import brokers to review and approve import shipments.
• Conduct post entry audits and report compliance risks.
• Perform product classifications (EAR, ITAR, HTS, Schedule B).
• Resolve denied party screening issues and support trade compliance inquiries.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years ITC experience.
• Experience drafting export licenses.
• Familiarity with EAR, ITAR, U.S. Customs Regulations, SNAP R, and DECCS.
• Familiar with and able to use USCBP ACE systems to analyze import/export data and download reports for site distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Position Pay Range: $90,000 to $115,000 annually.
Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education level, qualifications, and experience.
