Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics & Controls is seeking a Site Controller to be responsible for over-seeing all financial and business analysis activities. The position will be responsible for partering with the business teams to develop/execute business strategy and detailed business plans as well as the communication of those business plans to TGI's senior management.

Responsibilities
  • Establishes and maintains the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Supervises all general accounting functions of the company.
  • Continuously build an intimate knowledge of the Systems, Electronics & Controls Windsor CT business, its customers, profit drivers, operational capabilities, including organic growth drivers, innovation, supply chain and how competitive and market dynamics drive strategy and operating results.
  • Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
  • Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
  • Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies including compliance with government cost accounting regulations.
  • Participates in the proposal process and can assist in contract negotiations for products produced for both military and commercial customers.
  • Prepares all corporate requirements, including income tax schedules, forecasts, and quarterly balance sheet reviews.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of applicable financial management experience in progressively responsible assignments preferably in public, industrial/manufacturing companies, and a minimum of three years of management experience leading professionals.
  • Undergraduate degree required, an advanced degree (e.g. MBA, CPA) and/or Fortune 500 training program is desirable.
  • Aerospace industry experience a plus.
  • Financial leadership experience for production, assembly, repair and overhaul.
  • High level of cost accounting knowledge, including average actual is desired.
  • ERP implementation experience a plus.
