Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 
 
Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph employs approximately 130 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems. 
 

Responsibilities

The Production Planner will work under the general direction of the Materials Manager with minimum supervision. They are responsible for performing diversified, technical duties of a complex nature. They will coordinate the activities of material management groups associated with major programs and use analytical abilities to resolve complex and diversified problems related to material management. They are responsible for the creation monitoring and execution of a monthly production plan for the site’s manufacturing facilities. They will create a finite schedule to be executed at site level. They will be required to review the gross requirements through MRP and or a LOB to create a material plan that complies with required service levels. They must possess an understanding of all the materials and processes that contribute to the marketing, design, sales, manufacturing and distribution of the products they are scheduling and planning. The Production Planner must be capable of developing a working line of communication with people from all levels of the organization.

 

 

•Raise purchase requisitions and work orders to ensure timely placement and delivery of components in line with production planning requirements.
•Process MRP exception messages to suit production planning requirements.
•Perform weekly cycle counts to attain 99% or greater accuracy.
•Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers.
•Use and maintain MRP data as the primary planning system tool.
•Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs.
•Perform related inventory transactions into the ERP system.
•Create statistical reports requiring
oGathering, analyzing, and validating data.
oSharing data with relevant departments and external suppliers.
•Work with demand and forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information. Provide Supply Chain with appropriate information to allow Purchasing to meet demand.
•Execute with excellence in the area of stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain, Technical, or a related discipline preferred.
•Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience preferred.
•Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies.
•Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting.
•Knowledge of Supply Chain Process/Supplier Interface/Purchase Order Placement.
•Understanding of Business Terms and Conditions.
•JDE Experience a plus
•Strong Business Writing and Communication Skills.
•Technical Aptitude/Experience a plus.
