Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls is a leading independent aerospace system supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 115 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems.
Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our Windsor, CT team. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support a range of responsibilities in the aerospace industry. The internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to their major that will enhance and complement classroom learning. At the Windsor facility, the intern will gain exposure to manufacturing engineering responsibilities related to highly engineered aerospace components. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a keen interest in manufacturing engineering, and a desire to learn in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
- Update inspection sheets and load into job package
- Job Package Verification including verifying job package is current and completed
- Verify all operating procedure sheets, drawings and inspection sheets are latest revision
- Update OD sheet to match traveler and inspection sheets
- Work in CREO or NX to update operation sheets
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with CREO or NX software a plus
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident
