Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administration Intern to join our Windsor, CT team. The Contracts Administration Intern will support a range of administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced regulatory environment. The internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to their major that will enhance and complement classroom learning. The ideal candidate will support the purchase order review and acknowledgment process, delivery schedules, sales order generation and maintenance, customer-returned material and material repair and overhaul inductions, quotations, and other similar assistance with appropriate training and direction. The position supports the Contracts Manager.

  • MRP System and understand the process – generating new sales orders and helping facilitate the closing of orders via progression to shipping
  • Managing sales order inductions of Customer Returned Material and/or Material Repair & Overhaul
  • Performing Customer schedule maintenance and alignment – working with internal and external portals and databases
  • Performing Purchase Order review – Part Numbers, Quality Remarks, Certifications, Shipping Terms, Incoterms, Payment Terms, Terms & Conditions
  • Performing Purchase Order acknowledgements – generation of contract letters or notifications to customers with requests for modification, revision, or acceptance
  • Assist with Customer Correspondence including Quotations
  • Enter data into various programs
  • Categorize, scan and catalog contract documents

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, International Business, or similar field; with a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Good interpersonal skills including leadership, diplomacy, and negotiation are desired. This position involves interaction with customers and senior leadership
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow and/or develop standard work
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels in the organization
  • Fluent in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Innovative approach for driving process efficiencies
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident
