Responsibilities

Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls located in Windsor, CT is currently seeking a 1st shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk to assist with the day to day shipping, receiving and delivery of products, materials and supplies. 
Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
* Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
* Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Maintains a clean, neat, production area.
* Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
* Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
* Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
* Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
* Drive to and from vendors using a cargo van.  

 

Qualifications

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
* US Citizen/Green Card holder.
* 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
* Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
* Experience with pallet jacks and other types of material moving equipment.
* Performing unpacking of shipment deliveries.
* Preparing shipping documents.
* Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments using a computer based inventory system.
