Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls is a leading independent aerospace system supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 115 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems.

Responsibilities

* Works from Tool Sheets, Dispatch reports and other documentation to prepare job kits for Production.  
* Changing tools in Tooling Support area to support the Milling cell
* Support job kitting for production
* Works with automated and manual system to refresh used perishable tooling
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks
* Serve as an aid in fixture inventory management
* Issue tools from vending inventory and tool management systems for production
* Provide Production with needed tools and store tools when no longer needed while keeping tooling database current with tool status and location
* Supply tool inventory lists and documentation as needed
* Preform preventive maintenance tasks
* Maintain an organized and clean work area
* Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

* Experience working in machining environment
* Cutting Tools Knowledge preferred
* Aerospace Manufacturing experience preferred
* Knowledge of cutting tools is required
* Competent in safely using hand tools and handheld measurement equipment
* Must be able to read and write comments, interpret tool drawings
* Must be mechanically inclined, organized, willing to learn and possess acute attention to detail
* Strong communication and organization skills
* PC skills, able to use Windows based programs
* Educational Requirement:  High School diploma or equivalent
