Overview
We are looking for an energetic, self-starting NPI Procurement Analyst to provide Supply Chain Support for Engineering/NPI Programs. This position requires a detail-oriented and versatile individual who can maintain a high level of quality when challenged with rapidly shifting priorities. A key contributor to the Supply Chain team, the NPI Procurement Analyst will support program needs by aiding in the selection and management of the suppliers and materials that meet the cost, quality and delivery needs of each program.
Responsibilities
- Sources, purchases, administers and monitors items, materials or services of a technical and specialized nature in support of NPI project teams and Engineering programs.
- Maintains effective documentation and filing system, which supports immediate job functions, ISO requirements and related industry requirements.
- Supports supplier meetings and interactions to clarify scope, accelerate project schedule and improve cost
- Organizes and manage multiple projects, while tracking and solving supplier issues, suggesting counter measures to implement long-term solutions for identified problems.
- Proposes and implements compliant solutions that meet program needs. Learns and shares best practices within Supply Chain team.
- Participates in continuous improvement events as required.
- Ensures quality product utilizing Triumph quality procedures and processes.
- Audits work area for safety compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years Supply Chain or Operations experience is preferred.
- Experience with procurement, expediting.
- Demonstrated initiative and advanced interpersonal skills in team problem solving situations, relationship building and aligning with business goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced MS Excel skills preferred
- JD Edwards experience preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings preferred
