TRIUMPH Systems Electronics & Control is a leading global independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter, and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 530 employees and recently celebrated their 90th anniversary. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket / spares end markets.


We currently have a position for an All-Around Operator for 2nd shift in West Hartford, CT.  This is a bargaining unit position (UAW), with an excellent wage and benefits package.  Starting wage is $22.44/hour with an increase to $25.44/hour after 12 months.  All benefits start on Day 1 which includes, vacation and PTO time, medical, dental and vision benefits, 401(k) with match, paid holiday shutdown between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. 


•Prepare for and perform operations in connection with surface finishing, plating, straightening, heat-treating, nitriding, painting, assembly for braze, and marking on a wide variety of detailed parts. 
•Procedures are largely standardized. Work to detailed instructions provided. Refer all questions to supervision. 
•The operations range to medium difficulty and include all operations spelled out in the following job descriptions: Heat Treat Furnace Operator, Marking and Painter. 
•Instructions and specifications range to average. Train other employees as required. 
•Tolerances where involved range to close. 
•Finish must be to specifications. 
•Small variety of measuring tools are required.


•High school diploma or GED required.
•3 to 5 years of related experience. Prior aerospace manufacturing experience a plus.
•Ability to read blueprints and drawings to execute work.
•Operate common and special tools and machines.
•Operate special test and diagnostic equipment 
•Ability to learn industry-related software
•Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
