Senior CNC Programmer, Mazak Turning

Triumph Engine Control Systems is a leading independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter, and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 550 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.


The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will develop robust process for CNC machining centers. Support the production area by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting skills for the various components for blowers, pumps, and control units.



  • Update and troubleshoot CNC programs for multi-axis Mazak turning equipment
  • Provide technical support regarding all safety and ergonomics issues within the area
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain manufacturing process routings, drawings, and tool sheets
  • Design and procure tooling, fixtures, gaging, and write CNC programs to support the manufacturing process instructions
  • Train employees as necessary with the processes for processing components



  • 3-5 years Mazak CNC programming experience
  • 10 years CNC machining experience
  • CAD/CAM software knowledge
  • CNC programming with G and M codes
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization while remaining customer oriented
