Triumph Engine Control Systems is a leading independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 550 employees. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket / spares end markets.


The Product Support Project Engineer (PSPE), Electronics will provide engineering support to various areas of the business focusing primarily on in-service products. The PSPE will be a technical expert for assigned product lines and will support and direct engineering changes for those products. The Product Support Engineer will interact and support internal and external customers regularly.



Primary responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute engineering changes for design issues, product improvements and part obsolescence issues.
  • Provide a technical interface for customers’ engineering questions/requests.
  • Write engineering technical reports to support engineering changes.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive schedules for projects assigned and report regularly.


Secondary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and conduct technical presentations to internal and external customers.
  • Support repair station activities: Service Bulletins, Component Maintenance Manuals, and technician troubleshooting.




  • BSEE is preferred.
  • Recent college graduates will be considered.
  • Experience in Avionics, Instrumentation, Control System Design, or Electronics Product Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) skills are required.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel 5%.
