Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage document control process using Omnify
  • Source and implement QMS system to improve the electronic process
  • Create electronic Complaint, NCMR, ASL handling process within the Omnify system.
  • Create new and improve existing workflows in the Omnify PLM database
  • Troubleshoot workflow issues to improve process time of engineering changes, part creation, etc.
  • Maintain and optimize custom tools linked to the Omnify system by connecting Omnify to Excel
  • Monitor active Engineering Changes, Part Requests, Quality Notices, etc. to facilitate completion
  • Support and train Omnify users
  • Complete On-boarding and De-boarding requests and other administrative tasks
  • Update project assignments as required by team member changes

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 3 years’ minimum experience working with the Omnify system
    • Knowledge and experience with other PLM or PDM systems will be considered
  • Database and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) experience
  • Familiar with programming in Excel, Visual Basic and other languages
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Open to on-site or remote work
  • Minimum A.A.S. degree required; higher degree level preferred

 

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Windows proficient
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
  • Experience with Mentor tools, schematic symbol/part decals creation a plus
  • Experience with Component Obsolescence tracking a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills to support other groups/functions
