Overview

Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls is a leading independent aerospace system supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 500 employees. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, main fuel pumps and environmental control systems for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets. 

 

Triumph Engine Control Systems’ Electronics Engineering department is looking to fill an Electronics Product Support & In-Service Engineering lead position in our West Hartford, CT location. 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of communicating with internal and external customers, cross-functional managers, directors, and team-members; must be self-motivated and possess good interpersonal/team skills. 
Knowledge of Electronic Circuit designs, Manufacturing and Assembly processes, Troubleshoot methods and techniques, and Data mining.
Experience with reading schematics and technical documents related to the Electronics Hardware and Software designs; experience generating troubleshoot procedures and writing reports; experience working with lab equipment including meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and data acquisition systems; experience and/or knowledge of CCA manufacturing and assembly, supplier interfacing and process compliance.

 

The candidate will work with engineers and staff across multiple disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical/Packaging, Systems, Software, Reliability, Test, Project), Operations/Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management and Business development… to perform a wide range of tasks.

Qualifications

•Minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
oAdditional Degrees are a plus
•More than 5-years of relevant Electronics Engineering Design and Manufacturing experience.
oPrior aerospace experience preferred.
•Familiarity with 5Y, Kaizen, 5S, 6-sigma analyses
•Excellent written and verbal skills.
•Excellent Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills.
