Responsibilities

The Technician Assembly Test 1 position performs basic mechanical, assembly, disassembly, inspector, and preparation of actuators, accumulators, valves, and related components. The position follows established work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality requirements to ensure components are properly assembled and meet specified requirements. 
Responsibilities:
Assembly basic actuators, accumulators, valves, and related mechanical components according to established work instructions and procedures. 
Measure and inspect parts using appropriate measuring tools to determine whether specified tolerances are met. 
Position, align, and fit components to ensure proper assembly.
Bolt, screen, fasten, and secure parts and components together using appropriate hand and power tools.
Disassemble assemblies and replace components or parts as required. 
Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies in accordance with established procedures.
Mark or identify parts and assemblies using required identified methods.
Perform basic visual workmanship and conformance to specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all established safety procedures, machine instructions, work procedures, and quality inspection requirements.
Report damaged, defective, or nonconforming parts to the appropriate supervisor or lead.
Complete required documentation and records accurately.
Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and assembly procedures.
Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and component identification.
Ability to accurately measure parts and identify when dimensions are outside specified tolerances. 
Ability to follow established quality and safety requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent workmanship.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from leads and supervisors. 

Education and/or Experience:                      
High school diploma or GED required
0-2 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus. 

Hourly Rate: $22.68 - $28.00
