Responsibilities

Triumph Actuation Products & Services Valencia designs, manufactures, Assemble and Test Hydraulic Actuation Components for the Aerospace Industry.  

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor for our Repair and Overhaul & Assembly and Test area.  This role will manage the organization day-to-day activities and ensure the department meets customer, regulatory authority, and company goals and requirements.
Essential Functions 
•    Overall responsibility for Repair & Overhaul and Assembly and Test, quality and delivery performance to customer. 
•    Ensures the delivery of quality product that is fully compliant with all FAA, EASA and other regulating authority and/or customer requirements
•    Establishes performance goals for the repair station, and ensures actions are taken to meet the company goals.
•    Responsibility of supervising/managing the Repair & Overhaul team.
•    Works with Procurement and Planning personnel to ensure sufficient repair station inventory is available to meet customer and company turn time requirements.
•    Works with Aftermarket Administration to ensure all customer requirements are communicated to the repair station prior to start of the maintenance activity.
•    Work with functional managers and department heads to allocate resources as required to support business goals. Proactively manages for resource conflicts and constraints.
•    Ensures proper management of inventory in alignment with business objectives. 
•    Establishes the criteria for hiring repair station personnel, as well as the requirements for training, and maintains records to properly document those activities.
•    Ensures the availability of all technical information required to accomplish repair and overhaul of articles, and the retention of records.
•    Achieves profit goals through effective pricing and cost control.
•    Participates in strategic planning/financial planning processes.
•    Direct communications with customers as leader of the Repair & Overhaul business, including program reviews, new business planning, order status reviews, and any escalated performance or service-related issues.
•    Negotiates contracts, both short and long term, for military and commercial repairs.
•    Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental and health requirements.
•    Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.
 

Qualifications

Competencies 
•    Self-starter, capable of achieving results with minimal guidance.  Has a broad range of relevant knowledge/skill that can be applied to solve day to day challenges
•    Excellent written and verbal communications in English 
•    Strong analytical skills: able to generate relevant data to manage performance and guide decision making.
•    Prior experience working directly with customers, military and commercial (managing expectations, negotiating).
•    Working knowledge of MRP systems.

Supervisory Responsibility 
•    Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
o    Identify and solve workflow constraints
o    Labor & capacity planning
o    Continuous improvement
Required Education, Certifications, and Experience 
•    Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Aerospace MRO experience preferred, but not required.
•    Direct customer service and/or sales experience with evidence of progressive responsibility.
