Responsibilities

This position will have the responsibility of managing the Internal Audit and Corrective Action processes. Additionally, this position will support the Head of Quality QA manual revisions, and other quality documentation requirements. Provides administration support to the Quality Manager, including but not limited to the following duties

Responsibilities: 

•    Lead/Manage Internal Audit schedule to include but not limited FAA/ESA required audits.  
•    Lead/Manage timely Corrective Actions for effective elimination of defects.
•    Administer the quality audit review of each customer purchase order to determine specific requirements for the manufacturing plan. 
•    Interprets quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.
•    Works with Quality Engineers to monitor process anomalies and teams with engineering and operations to determine corrective actions that eliminate nonconformance.
•    Further refine tools already developed for internal reporting to design and manage quality performance both overall and for specific products.
•    Maintains stamps for TASV, LLC by updating log, issuing of new stamps, destroying old stamps, etc. 3. 
•    Collects and uploads data in the Supplier Portal to maintain accurate status of the ASL. 
•    Works closely with QA Manager for monitoring and updating Supplier’s status on the Triumph Supply Source and in the ERP system. 
•    Collects and inputs data into the Monthly Quality Reports (Internal and External). 
•    Maintains and distributes charts for the Quality Metrics and posts on the Quality Board. 
•    Updates various procedures that support the QMS and routes for approvals and distribution. 
•    Supports QA Manager with various tasks, as needed. 
•    Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook. 
•    Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements. 
•    Other duties assigned to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications

•    AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
•    5 + years’ experience as a professional in the aerospace industry, holding positions of progressive responsibility.  
•    Hydraulic component assembly and test strongly preferred. 
•    Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or technical field. 
•    Candidate must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
•    Demonstrated hands-on ability to drive action to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
•    Strong and thorough knowledge of quality engineering discipline, including:
    o Quality planning
    o Cost of Quality
    o Inspection methods & tools.
    o Quality Training
    o Product and Process Auditing
    o Interpretation of technical drawings
•    Knowledge of material review and non-conformance procedures required.
•    Knowledge of and experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
•    Proficient in use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office Suite and use of job shop type software
•    Full command of completing AS9102 first article process reports

Compensation: $89,800 - $134,800
