Responsibilities

Summary Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in industrial establishment by performing the following duties.
Coordinate calibration activities between Triumph and calibration vendor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.

Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.

Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.

Issue calibration recall list and update calibration system with current tools location.

Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools from vendors as well as calibration house.

Order equipment and issue requisitions to replenish inventory.

Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.

Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.

Delivers tools or equipment to workers.

Marks and identifies tools and equipment.

Works on administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives according to prescribed procedures.

Communicates with external vendors to request service quotes and status requests.

Solve a broad range of service/ support problems varying in scope and complexity.

Qualifications

Two-year college or technical school; or 1 to 5 -years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Able to read and interpret blueprints and written information.

Solid working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications including Outlook and Excel.
 

Experience with database tracking and management systems.

Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.

Strong attention to details and organizational skills.

Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.

Must maintain the ability to work in a team environment and provide responsive customer service to team members even with constant interruptions.
