1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Crossover Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

POSITION SUMMARY

Triumph Insulation Systems is seeking motivated operators to support the production of engineered laminate materials used within the aerospace industry. This position is for a laminator and adhesive mixing operator. This position is responsible for operating laminating and adhesive mixing equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and works effectively as part of a team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate laminating and adhesive mixing equipment safely and efficiently

• Set up and operate equipment according to work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures

• Monitor machine performance including temperatures, pressures, laydown rates, tracking, tension, and overall process conditions

• Perform adhesive preparation and mixing activities for production runs

• Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, production runs and finished goods

• Collect samples and provide materials to quality personnel as required

• Move raw materials and finished inventory using forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment

• Record production transactions, material usage, and process data accurately

• Perform routine machine cleaning, adhesive cleanup, and product changeover activities 

• Support troubleshooting efforts to minimize scrap, downtime and improve production efficiency

• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as needed

• Maintain 6S standards and keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions

• Take direction from supervisors and management while maintaining a positive team-oriented attitude

• May be asked to perform other duties, tasks, or activities as required to support business needs

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

• Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data 

• Strong attention to detail and quality focus

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Ability to follow instructions and respond positively to supervisor or management direction

Preferred:

• 3+ years of manufacturing, laminating, coating, converting, or related production experience

• Experience operating industrial equipment such as laminators, slitters, mixers, or oxidizer systems

• Forklift experience

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Experience working with adhesives, chemicals, converting processes or roll to roll manufacturing 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires employees to:

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials

• Regularly lift up to 70 pounds

• Work around moving equipment and manufacturing machinery

• Work in an environment containing noise, solvents, adhesives, lubricants, and other manufacturing materials

• Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
