Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:     (Other duties may be assigned)
 
1.    Monitor quality of materials as well as finished goods.
2.    Provide samples to quality control personnel as required.
3.    Move, load and unload inventory and other materials and equipment utilizing a variety of motorized forklifts and manual handling devices.
4.    Perform change-over activities including shafts and machine setups.
5.    Record data transactions related to the use, production, and movement of materials.
6.    Assist in maintenance, slitting and traffic as needed and directed.
7.    Special projects and assignments as needed.
8.    Set up machine controls in accordance with SOP.
9.    Monitor all machine settings, controls & readouts.
10.    Trouble shoot production runs as needed.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
3+ years’ slitting, printing, and packaging experience preferred.  Experience operating slitting and printing equipment. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.  Experience with excel spreadsheets is required for data entry. Knowledge of slitting equipment and forklift operation.
