The Tool Fabricator Associate will be responsible for the support of Tool Fabricator Seniors and the group Lead. The Associate will be expected to understand processes required to rework tooling as directed by the Lead. The Associate will be expected to work along side the Senior tool builders to develop skills and techniques utilized in PTI processes supporting as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Rework and prep of SMEs for various programs
  • Rework of MEs for various programs
  • Support efforts with shop cleanliness
  • Understand measurement methods and techniques with scales, micrometers, calipers along with other methods
  • Must be flexible, dependable, time conscious, and be able to move from project to project with minimal supervision.
  • Works from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
  • Provides support to the team working OT as needed
  • Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively


  • The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or accredited GED and 0-1 years of experience
  • Manufacturing work experience or mechanical background strongly preferred.
  • Must b.e willing and able to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Basic computer skills preferred
