  • Sources, purchases, plans, and schedules the movement of Direct Materials; parts, components, finished goods and related material through production and inventory process.
  • Manages/Accountable for Supplier Relationships as assigned
  • Identifies raw material, component, and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
  • Purchases, plans, and coordinates resulting material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences.
  • Analyzes data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
  • Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, approves payment, and maintains necessary records of material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory cycle(s)
  • Coordinates and follows up with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services.


  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent and 6 years of related procurement experience
  • Experience with SAP software
  • Knowledge of machine parts, sheetmetal and structural assembly manufacturing
  • Strong Supplier Management Capabilities
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes utilized in the manufacturing of aerospace structures and assemblies.
  • Willingness and ability to support required business travel.
  • Computer proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aerospace/automotive industry background preferred
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
