  • Manages all activities for quality personnel including Quality Engineering, MRB and inspection for the site.
  • Coordinates the implementation of the Quality Management System for the site.
  • Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate organizational units.
  • Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies.
  • Manages Site Corrective Action system & process, and blue streak activity and interfaces with operations management to facilitate continuous improvement and defect reduction.
  • Responsible for performance to budget for the assembly program’s quality organization.
  • Responsible for quality issues involving operations, manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Will be managing a number of direct reports and indirect reports.
  • Accountable for budget performance of all assigned functions.
  • Responsible for FOB support, performance evaluations, attendance and time-off and approval of all assigned personnel.


  • The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline with 10 years of related experience, or a master’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline with 6 years of related experience
  • Aerospace industry experience and Aerospace manufacturing quality system knowledge
  • Experience with LEAN and SIX SIGMA
  • AS9100 experience
  • Experience with quality issues involving Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain
  • A minimum of 4 years combined experience in Quality leadership/inspection/engineering
