Receives, stores and issues a wide variety of parts, details and hardware to support shop operations
Store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying part and stored location
Maintains necessary records, logs and reports on receipt and disbursement of supplies, establishing and modifying minimum/maximum levels to maintain shop operations
Receives, or prepares necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit
Prepares and issues shortage and rush item lists and requisitions to replenish supplies and minimize shop delays
Prepares material and paper work for return of overstock, wrong parts and defective or malfunctioning parts to parts control
Operate material handling motorized equipment in the internal movement of parts, details and hardware and equipment in support of production requirements
Notifies issues and discrepancies to supervisor in a promptly manner
Performs good housekeeping chores in area
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
The successful candidate will typically have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in inventory.
Certification on Forklift operation and/or other material handling motorized vehicles and equipment, packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous material preferred.
Knowledge of SAP a plus.
Must be willing and able to work any shift and weekends, if required to support production demands.
