  • Apply Industrial Engineering concepts and decision tools in order to support the cost and schedule metrics of multiple aerospace structures production lines.
  • Develop and maintain models and spreadsheets in order to analyze data (e.g. statistics, operations research, engineering economics) and provide guidance for program operations and management.
  • Utilize engineering methods to assist in developing optimal process flow and the efficient use of resources.
  • Analyze value streams, including capability, capacity (e.g., make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, supplier performance), throughput, work flow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time, transportation, factory layout)
  • Interact with shop floor personal & program management daily in order to status program health.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts and tools in order to minimize waste and increase productivity.
  • Mentor and instruct entry level Industrial Engineers.
  • Participate and/or lead Kaizen events.



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following degree concentrations: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or degree in relevant discipline.
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of lean principles & value stream maps
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace experience
  • Experience with SAP or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
  • Coding experience (VBA, SQL, etc.)
