Responsibilities

Create, track, and report key performance metrics that assist in daily operations and site management.
Gather and report information from multiple data sources to support shop floor and executive management.
Assist with planning and optimization of equipment layouts, floor space, work cells, workflow, and safety precautions in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Conduct time studies, utilization studies, and other direct observation-based studies to update and improve time standards.
Utilize value stream mapping, process flow and other Lean Manufacturing tools to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency
Perform capacity and layout analysis on manufacturing equipment.
Support project management for capital equipment acquisition, prepare cost estimates, timelines, and budgets for proposed projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Good project management, communication, and training skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding industrial environment
Ability to analyze data and processes as well as use problem solving methods to identify root causes and find best solutions.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Skills

Basic proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of probabilistic and deterministic data model techniques including forecasting, capacity studies, linear programming, and system optimization
Basic knowledge of programming languages (VBA, SQL, Python, C)
Basic familiarity with database systems
