Responsibilities
- Create, track, and report key performance metrics that assist in daily operations and site management.
- Gather and report information from multiple data sources to support shop floor and executive management.
- Assist with planning and optimization of equipment layouts, floor space, work cells, workflow, and safety precautions in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Conduct time studies, utilization studies, and other direct observation-based studies to update and improve time standards.
- Utilize value stream mapping, process flow and other Lean Manufacturing tools to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency
- Perform capacity and layout analysis on manufacturing equipment.
- Support project management for capital equipment acquisition, prepare cost estimates, timelines, and budgets for proposed projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Good project management, communication, and training skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding industrial environment
- Ability to analyze data and processes as well as use problem solving methods to identify root causes and find best solutions.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Skills
- Basic proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of probabilistic and deterministic data model techniques including forecasting, capacity studies, linear programming, and system optimization
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (VBA, SQL, Python, C)
- Basic familiarity with database systems
