Responsibilities

In addition to the function, duties and responsibilities set forth to the above labor grade 32, employee must also be able to: Receives, stores and issues a wide variety of parts, details and hardware to support shop operations. Store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying part and stored location. Maintains necessary records, logs and reports on receipt and disbursement of supplies, establishing and modifying minimum/maximum levels to maintain shop operations. Receives, or prepares necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit. Prepares and issues shortage and rush item lists and requisitions to replenish supplies and minimize shop delays. Prepares material and paper work for return of overstock, wrong parts and defective or malfunctioning parts to parts control. Operate material handling motorized equipment in the internal movement of parts, details and hardware and equipment in support of production req

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker

Understanding of inventory software, databases and systems

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Good organizational and time management skills

Ability to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds

High school degree
