Long Description

Triumph Composite Systems is currently looking for maintenance mechanics to perform various maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.

This job is a full-time position, however the position is short term duration for up to 6-8 months due to the closure of the Spokane facility in the summer of 2022.

The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $29 per hour, based on experience.

Successful candidates for this position may be assigned to perform the following tasks: general building and equipment maintenance, modification, relocation, installation, demolition, and area clean-up for which he or she is qualified to perform. May be assigned to perform maintenance tasks on pumps, cooling and ventilation systems, ovens, general equipment and tools, plumbing, carpentry, welding and general mechanical areas.

  • This job is represented by a collective bargaining union and monthly union dues are required.  Current dues are $66.50 per month
  • Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid19 to be considered. Proof of vaccination must be provided prior to employment.

  • This position does offer frequent overtime on weekends and outside normal business hours. Candidates should assume they will be required to work some overtime.

Responsibilities

  • May be required to occasionally lift 50 pounds of material, tools or machinery. Company lifting policies dictate lifting requirements and restrictions above 35 pounds.
  • Maintain, repair, replace, modify, construct and install all building and equipment in designated areas of the facility.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing and electrical equipment systems.
  • May be required to obtain certifications to operate forklifts, scissor lifts and other motive equipment necessary to perform job function.
  • Perform reqular and time maintenance on systems and equipment
  • Maintain overall working knowledge of plant maintenance systems and equipment
  • May be required to climb ladders and work at heights greater than six (6') feet, using approved fall protections systems and devices.
  • Required to wear all approved personal protective equipment including, but not limited to; reinforced toed safety shoes/boots, ANSI approved safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, uniforms, etc.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

PLC computing systems training preferred
