Responsibilities
- Participate as a team member and work continually to improve all aspects of our business.
• Work safely and report any unsafe actions on company property to appropriate personnel.
• Train personnel on areas of knowledge and evaluate the understanding of the knowledge.
• Inspect product, parts, tools, or related items using a wide variety of measuring equipment and to document measurement results on the appropriate records, which include hard copies or computer files.
• Review Specifications (including but not limited to blueprints, purchase orders, sales contracts, military contracts, Triumph specifications, Customer Specification, or Customer specifications) for special requirements to ensure compliance by Triumph.
• Set up, perform and tear down as needed Acceptance Test Plans (ATP’s) on all products requiring it as assigned.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI’s) on all products requiring it.
• Inspect all documents relating to shipment prior to DOD inspector approval for defense orders.
• Perform audits of various aspects of the organization to internal and external requirements.
• Calibrate measuring equipment and to devise methods as needed.
• Assist personnel in conducting inspection. This includes Government Inspectors, Triumph Personnel and others as needed.
• Analyze problems and situations, recommend, and implement solutions as needed.
• Perform production tasks as required. - Complete all related reports, paperwork, and documentation, including labor reports and production line performance.
- • Notify supervision of any non-conformance and keep management apprised of all unusual conditions.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Qualifications
- High School or Technical School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Technology a plus
- A minimum of 3 years in quality inspection/machining (final, source and in process inspection) working in a manufacturing environment
- Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools
- Problem identification and resolution skills
- Experience with quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and knowledgeable of AS9102 First Article Inspection Report requirements preferred
- Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers
