Responsibilities
- Work from assembly drawings, blueprints, identify parts, and predetermined assembly sequence documentation with assistance and guidance
- Perform assembly, fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, swaging, adjusting, and inspection.
- Detect defective or incorrect parts and request replacement.
- Perform Set-up of Equipment with assistance as required
- Detect and correct faulty operation of controls. Test controls in special fixtures in accordance with drawing specifications.
- Use a variety of hand operated machines and tools.
- Use measuring gauges, scales, calipers, and dial indicators
- Keep Management appraised and report all non-conformance/unusual conditions to Production Tech and/or Supervisor.
- Participate as a team member and work to continually improve all aspects of our business.
- Work safely and adhere to all company policies, procedures and work instructions.
The incumbent may be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Working Conditions
This position occupies a typical plant-manufacturing environment. Incumbents spend approximately 5% sitting, 50% standing, and 45% walking in the course of performing their job responsibilities and are unlikely to handle materials weighing more than 20 pounds without mechanical assistance. Incumbents will use the following equipment / tools in the course of performing their duties: micrometers, swagers, hand tools, soldering irons, others as needed.
