Responsibilities

As a Test Systems Engineer, you will work to develop and implement automated testing solutions for our aerospace products.  This may include software development, mechanical design for enclosures and automated test equipment (ATE’s), hydraulic system design and implementation, documentation, building test systems, training and supporting test technicians, and utilizing automated test equipment to conduct Acceptance and Qualification tests for electromechanical and hydraulic aerospace products. You will work alongside Landing Gear and Actuation engineers. Test Systems has a flexible and collaborative culture – we manage the full lifecycle of our automated test equipment, from design to purchasing to build & implementation. This is a full time, on-site role.

 

Test Systems Engineer Duties include, but not limited to:


-    Develop and implement test plans for aerospace products
-    Develop automated test systems based on test plan requirements
-    Design and build mechanical assemblies
-    Design and build hydraulic assemblies
-    Conduct testing & train others to use automated test equipment
-    Analyze and validate test data
-    Troubleshoot issues with automated test equipment
-    Develop scripts and software for automated test equipment
-    Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab space

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

 

-    Engineering Degree or 4 years of relevant mechanical / hydraulic / test experience
-    Proficiency with SolidWORKS
-    Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python)
-    Familiarity with electromechanical systems
-    Familiarity with testing and troubleshooting
-    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
-    Strong attention to detail
-    Ability to work independently
-    Excellent communication and collaboration skills

 

Additional qualifications:


-    Project leadership experience
-    Electronic design and test experience
-    LabVIEW experience

Salary Range: $60,000 - $93,200 annually 


Hiring Range and Position Pay to Commensurate with leveling based on Qualifications and Experience
