Responsibilities

Triumph Group Inc. is a leader in the design, development, manufacturer, repair, sales, and life cycle support of aircraft control and actuation systems and structures. Triumph Aerospace Systems Seattle’s function is to design and integrate systems and structures aboard customer airframes utilizing the broad capabilities of the companies within the Triumph Group.

We are seeking a high experience expert in hydraulic component and hydraulic system design. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years experience in the field.    

Essential Function of the Job:
- Aerospace hydraulic actuators, valves, dampers, pumps. 
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, hydraulic devices. 
-  Solid modeling of actuators and components (Solidworks preferred)
-  FEA and Fluid analysis
-  Communicate internally with coworkers and externally with customers and suppliers
-  Prepare presentation material and present to co-workers and customers
-  Develop test procedures and reports, test tooling and test fixtures
-  Provide support for product manufacturing, inspection, testing and external customers.
- Experience with design of hydraulic actuators, valves, accumulators, pumps, shock absorbers, or dampers is a plus. 

Qualifications

Required: 11+ years experience, Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus; must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio), proficient in 3-D modeling (Solid Works and/or CATIA).  Experience with component sizing, FEA, and virtual collaboration. 

Some travel required.

Salary Range: $127,400 - $191,000

Hiring Range and Position Pay to Commensurate with leveling based on Qualifications and Experience
