Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Systems Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and technicians to develop and implement testing solutions for our aerospace products.  You will learn about and you will work hands-on with Landing Gear structures and systems, test harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, and industrial controls.  Your work will help us set up and maintain our test rigs and equipment.

Mechanical Intern Duties include, but not limited to:
-    Build and repair Landing Gear test rigs and test harnesses
-    Upgrade lab equipment and test systems as needed
-    Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues
-    Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab space

Qualifications


Desired Qualifications:

-    Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering program (e.g., electrical, mechanical)
-    Knowledge of:
o    Landing Gear structures and systems
o    Mechanical and Hydraulic systems testing and troubleshooting
-    Familiarity with hand tools and typical lab equipment (e.g., drill, torque wrench)
-    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
-    Strong attention to detail
-    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-    Excellent communication and collaboration skills
