Responsibilities

Position Summary: This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day transactions and policy administration relating to all phases of the employee life cycle activities, such as employee recruitment, hiring, compensation administration, benefits administration, new hire orientation, related safety and worker’s compensation administration, employee data maintenance, support, and general routine reporting.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leaders and employees with coaching, consultation, and guidance on the effective management of people, structure, resourcing, and relationships. 
  • Assists leaders and employees at all levels with developing and consistently demonstrating effective communication and conflict management.
  • Supports data-driven people solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible.
  • Supports change management initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with universities and technical schools as a source for qualified candidates for internships, apprenticeships and regular positions.
  • Promote and drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Salary planning & administration.
  • Partner with Sr. HR Manager and business unit leaders to develop strategic workforce plans.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the human resources operations policies, processes and procedures.
  • Acts as an advisor and provides technical expertise and analytical support to the Human Resources team in relation to employee benefits administration, compensation administration, and HRIS system maintenance.
  • Manages the recruitment for employees and coordinates onsite interviews.
  • Organizes and conducts new employee orientation; creates a positive first impression of the company and serves as a role model for values.
  • Supports with HRIS system maintenance for reporting and recruiting.
  • Other duties as applicable.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university required (Human Resource Focus a plus)
  • Aerospace or complex manufacturing experience in Human Resource Management preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in an HR role or comparable experience. 
  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, such as Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products are required.
  • Strong working experience recruiting and onboarding both hourly and salary employees a plus
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization is essential.
  • Flexible and a self-starter; able handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills including the ability to collaborate with others to deliver outstanding business solutions
  • Knowledge of HR laws, policies and procedures with a basic understanding of legal compliance requirements

Position Salary Range: $52,300 - $78,500 Annual.   Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education, qualifications and experience.
