• Perform all mechanical assembly, functional tests, test setups, and finish operations on product line per blueprints and planning with little to no supervision.
• Perform mechanical assemblies involving, swaging, staking, drilling, bushing install.
• Start learning to perform all electrical assembly, functional tests, test setups, and finish operations on product line per blueprints and planning with little to no supervision.
• Start learning to perform electrical assemblies involving soldering, printed circuit boards, transducers, connectors and wire harness assemblies.
• Determine the sequence of assembly & test operations in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Management System documents to optimize the process and achieve maximum productivity and quality.
• Work with hazardous chemicals such as: Acetone, Alcohol, paints, sealants, bonding solvents.
• Prevent and monitor Foreign Object Debris.
• Check and document drawing dimensions using measuring devices.
• Part Mark product using provided equipment/tools.
• Maintain orderly and retrievable records of work performed and complete records of test setups, work orders, photos, and procedures.
• Use computer to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe working area.
• Adhere to cleanliness standards. (Pick up after oneself. Clean as you go)
• With assistance determine cause and corrective action through failure analysis in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering and Quality Control.
• Communicate in a professional manner with managers, supervisors and other associates to resolve job related issues or concerns.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:  walk, stand, sit, talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Other tasks/duties/responsibilities as assigned.


  • Experience & Knowledge:
    • High School Diploma, (GED) or equivalent.
    • 2-4 years of experience preferred.
    • IPC J-STD-001 Certification preferred
    • Safety orientated and willing to participate in continuous improvement team discussions.
    • General mechanical knowledge/background.
    • Experience with PCB, PCBA and Electromechanical assembly processes
    • BLDC Motor assembly and test experience preferred.

    Skills & Competencies:
    • Safe use of hand and power tools.
    • Multimeter, Hypot, IR, and Oscilloscope experience preferred.  
    • Ability to follow instruction. (oral and written).
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  Prefer ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
    • Intermediate computer skills.
    • Willing to work in team environment and participate in team process improvement discussions.
    • Must be able to work weekend, to meet commitments to our customers.
