Based in Radnor, PA, TRIUMPH’s Corporate Headquarters is located approximately 13 miles west of Philadelphia, in the Main Line suburbs. The office is strategically positioned near the Blue Route (I-476) and the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) for a convenient vehicle commute. With an exclusive shuttle service offered on property, the office offers close proximity to public transportation to stations for SEPTA’s Paoli/Thorndale Line and Norristown High Speed Line. Description

The Tax Accounting Analyst is a newly created position that will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our tax processes. Uses knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency of tax reporting and contribute to strategic financial planning. The position provides exposure to a wide swath of functional areas, senior leadership, and site personnel as well as involvement in all areas of the tax department function.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for the organization.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and related reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation for all tax-related activities.
  • Collaborate with site accounting personnel to obtain and analyze tax-related information and support site needs.
  • Assist in filing and payment of extensions, estimated payments, and tax returns.
  • Review and prepare responses to notices from tax authorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their implications on the organization’s tax obligations.
  • Collaborate with members of Finance team to ensure timely and accurate filing of annual reports and other regulatory filings
  • Conduct detailed analysis of tax data, identifying potential tax savings and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during tax audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Support financial planning activities by providing tax-related input and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize tax processes and enhance internal controls.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on tax-related matters.
  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and present findings to senior management.
  • Assist in special tax projects and initiatives as required by the organization.
  • May assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with international tax regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification obtained or in progress preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in tax preparation software (i.e. OneSource Tax Provision/Income Tax) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is a plus.
  • Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to changes in tax laws.
