Overview

 

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Information Technology for our Geared Solutions Operating Company (OpCo) in Park City, UT. The incumbent will serve a key role which has both strategic and technical scope. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating, planning, and leading the information technology activities for the OpCo. They will help determine the needs of the organization and be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining digital solutions to fulfill them. In this role, you should be highly technical and able to understand business drivers. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

 

  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve reactive incident tickets.
  • Analyze and design the IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Work closely with other IT groups to coordinate priorities and requirements for upcoming Business and IT projects.
  • Provide support between shared services and site customers.
  • Manage all server, storage and network upgrades and new technologies until the systems are stable and operational in a production environment.
  • Partner with the Enterprise teams to help design, implement, and secure a strong technical foundation.
  • Attend future project meetings to coordinate infrastructure needs with the business managers and leaders.
  • Create a solid environment that is technically sound and redundant to make sure that business continuity is a top priority.
  • Maintain all systems, to be up to date with firmware / software patches as required.
  • Manage and coordinate all service and maintenance requirements for infrastructure equipment.
  • Provide direction to others on the IT team engaged in design, configuration, interfacing/integration and development activities
  • Help manage infrastructure security on an OpCo level, being responsible for third party penetration testing and ongoing monitoring.
  • Manage all related audit activities, documenting all changes and using the correct policies and procedures to implement changes.
  • Provide leadership to IT team members to help improve overall customer satisfaction based on policies and procedures and SLOs
  • Maintain shift/schedule flexibility, provide on-call support and customer service 24x7x365 as needed
  • 10% travel in support of site, regional and project priorities  

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or related discipline with 5-8 years of practical experience (required)
  • Experience supporting public manufacturing businesses; experience in aerospace (plus)
  • Experience with SOX compliance, DFARS compliance, and ITAR Security requirements (plus)
  • Experience in aerospace & defense (plus) 
  • Experience in LEAN, SIX SIGMA, and ITIL methodologies (plus)
