We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for our Park City, UT Location. The Project Engineer is a member of the Gear Systems Design and Development Group.  Specific design and development experience including test of aerospace quality gear systems and housings or equivalent is preferred.



  • Support Program Manager in successful completion of non-recurring project objectives.  Be the engineering representative in High Performance Team.
  • Execute successful product development projects for new or modified product on schedule and within budget from concept design through qualification and production transition.
  • Define and manage resource requirements for all engineering and test activities.
  • Create, review, and monitor engineering and test schedule and budget commitments relative to assigned projects and communicate risks to management.
  • Manage compliance to technical, contractual, and program requirements and work closely with Systems Engineering to determine how requirements are met. 
  • Manage progress of engineering documentation release schedules.
  • Lead customer interface efforts, specifically weekly status meetings, technical interchange reviews, non-advocate independent reviews, preliminary design reviews, critical design reviews, and test readiness reviews.
  • Ensure new product development procedures are adhered to and that recommendations for continuous improvement relative to lessons learned are communicated and incorporated into revised procedures.
  • Support Operations in ensuring that engineered product meets financial objectives through implementation of acceptance tests and build standards aligned with Design to Cost (DTC) estimates.
  • Identify areas of group process and product improvements (new and legacy products) and implement changes.
  • Communicate, track, document, and negotiate changes.  Instrumental in determining what is within the scope of the technical, contractual, and program requirements.
