We are currently seeking a Program Manager for our Park City, UT Location. 


This individual will have full ownership of Cost, Schedule and Technical Responsibilities for multiple programs at the Site.  Program manager’s scope will reflect annual revenue of $25M - $35M.  Program managers will control one or multiple customer portfolios depending on the scope of the packages.  Packages include production of complex components and major assemblies either developed by Triumph or by Customers for aircraft and aircraft engines.  Program management role include managing schedule and cost by leading and integrating activities by multiple functions including design engineering, test & certification, planning, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, production operations, quality, contracts, shipping/receiving, finance and Customers.  Program Managers are expected to brief site and corporate leadership on monthly or more of program status, issues, and recovery plans.  Program Manager is accountable for the P&L performance results of the program(s) including customer ratings of the Triumph site and Business Unit.  Program Manager should possess experience in a technical area (engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, contracts) with experience in either product development and/or sustainment manufacturing phases with competencies predicated by industry standards of PMP and/or DAU PM qualifications.
 

Responsibilities

•    Oversees execution of production orders, product development programs and product manufacturing launch efforts.
•    Leads internal and external Integrated Product Teams (IPT) with functional managers, assigned team members to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
•    Develops program plans and ensures identification and resolution of program issues and risks in a timely manner.
•    Manages multiple programs/orders to ensure on-time quality delivery within budget.
•    Leads the development of proposals for follow-on work-scope for assigned programs including valid cost and pricing to meet site profitability and growth requirements.
•    Develops organic growth opportunities for new business with existing customers and product lines.
•    Key contributor to SIOP for customer demand, bookings and revenue.
•    Manages schedule and cost issues including development of recovery plans, coordinated with internal and customer leadership.
•    Provides a coordinated company response to customer requests and inquiries.
•    Ensures contract requests, requirements and performance are properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers.
•    Develop program contribution for Business Unit revenue, Cash and Operating Income targets.
•    Manage day-to-day priorities of site and customer support efforts.
•    Manage open action items between the customer and TGS.
•    Ensures cross-functional involvement with design engineering, test & certification, planning, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, production operations, quality, contracts, shipping/receiving, finance and Customers.
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Engineering or another technical field is preferred.
  • Advanced degree or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • 5-8 years progressive experience in Program/Project Management in complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense or heavy manufacturing environment.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) experience with gate processes such as Bid/No Bid, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.
  • Experience in a production environment including product launch for manufacture and sustained production.
  • Strong leadership skills are required
  • Self Starter not requiring direction to execute daily efforts
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Microsoft tool suite including MS Project
  • Detailed and well organized
  • Approximately 15% domestic and/or international travel is required.
