We are currently seeking a NPI & Sourcing Project Buyer for our Park City, UT Location.

Responsibilities
  • Manage creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) and NPI purchase orders for key sub-contractors.  Work with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering to capture all requirements and clearly relay them to the sub-contractors
  • Manage all deliverables for key sub-contractors including “soft” deliverables such as PDRs, CDRs, compliance matrix, qualification reports, etc.
  • Coordinate and manage sub-contractor documents through the review cycles at TGS-PC, ensuring documents are reviewed by the proper function in a timely manner.
  • Participate in overall program strategy with the Program Manager and the Integrated Program Team (IPT).
  • Evaluate sub-contractor performance for on-time delivery, quality, and price and work with the appropriate TGS-PC functions to improve performance when necessary
  • Manage supplier/cost reduction initiatives, including transition “work transfer” process, using existing standard work and managing the process for existing and new supplier transitions.
  • Identify, facilitate, validate, and report on cost reduction and transition projects across all commodities (direct and indirect);
  • Cost reduction/work transfer coordination and project management strategy development across all commodities working with Commodity Leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ Degree (Business, Operations, Supply Management or Engineering)
  • 5+ years working in a Manufacturing Environment, with proven experience in the procurement and sourcing of a large variety of commodities.
  • Proven negotiation and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • A self-directed individual, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic.
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).
