The Lead Auditor will be responsible for being a thought leader for Triumph’s auditing team. Promoting, coaching and mentoring Triumph’s auditors in systems thinking and process-based auditing. Ensures that the audit program focuses on performance and drives a positive Quality/Continuous improvement culture that effectively mitigates and reduces the overall cost of quality. Interprets industry, customer, and regulatory Quality System requirements. Participates within New Product Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as well as supporting other functions in the pursuit of excellence. They will also oversee and monitor the required resources and their associated competencies necessary for an effective Quality System Audit Program within the assigned sites. They lead regular remote and onsite interactions with site specific customers and/or regulatory agencies within the context of the external audit process.


Job Qualifications:


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management or similar field  
•    5+ years of Manufacturing and Quality Assurance experience in Aerospace or other complex manufacturing industry with exacting requirements 
•    Experience with AS9100 
•    Experience with Lean 6 Sigma 
•    Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action skills
•    Experience with process-based auditing, product-based auditing, and risk-based auditing
•    Competency and aptitude for influencing organizational cultural change
•    Organizational skills, creativity, and visionary forward thinking skills
•    Accomplished in building positive relationships with co-workers, suppliers, and customers 
•    Strong facilitation, oral and written communications to all levels within the organization and external stakeholders
•    Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
