Overview

 

Triumph Geared Solutions is currently seeking a Deburr/Hand Finisher for our facility in Park City, UT.

 

The Deburr/Hand Finisher will Performs hand finishing techniques and or de-burring to smooth and blend rough components into finished products.  Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches & product/engineering specifications.  This position requires familiarity with de-burring close tolerances, aerospace parts and experience with inspection methods and techniques.  May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and certify/test products.

 

 

Capabilities & Requirements

 

  • Deburr technicians must be effective communicators, which comprises the abilities to:
    • Develop clear understanding of expectations and assignments; and
    • Ensure alignment to assigned actions and outcomes.
  • Must possess expert knowledge of his/her areas including work and process flows, technical/quality requirements and performance metrics.
  • Must be capable of effectively utilizing TGS information technology tools which include internal knowledge sharing and general administrative expectations. 
  • Must be capable of visually analyzing and evaluating design and prints to help ensure alignment and compliance product processes and quality requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of finishing techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Detail Oriented
  • Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques.

Expectations

 

Deburr/Hand Finishers are expected to comply with company and customer regulations and FAA regulations.  They are expected to develop familiarity with deburring to close tolerances and hand finishing techniques.  Hand Finishers are expected to understand and interpret specifications and blueprints in order to finish the product to customer and company standards.
