Role Summary/ Essential Responsibilities

Quality Inspector activities in support of ongoing Production programs.  

 

Prime responsibilities are:
•    Develop a solid understanding of specific Quality requirements to ensure that all Customer expectations are met at all times.
•    Develop CMM programs and analyse results to ensure process capability is achieved and maintained.
•    Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation supporting specific products are compiled to AS9102 as required.
•    Support product inspection activities as required using first principle measuring.
•    Plan, lead and execute Quality investigations as required using RCCA, 8D and other techniques to effectively analyse problem root cause and prevent recurrence.
•    Conduct Quality audits in support of the ongoing Quality audit program as required.
 

Qualifications/ Experience

Essential
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Aerospace Quality in a Quality role.
•    Experience writing CMM programs in PCDMIS.
•    Experience completing FAI to BS9102 using Visual FAIR software.
•    Previous experience of Engineering Quality aspects and implementation.
•    Ability to perform first principle measurement.
